What is the record for most clicks in 10 seconds?

In 2011, YouTube gamer Dennis 'Excessive' Vallbracht shattered the world record for most mouse clicks in a 10-second period. An impressive feat, Excessive managed to clock an astounding 1,090 clicks in just one tenth of a minute using an auction website mouse.

The previous record had been held by Kedrick 'Tokan' Osborn who was recorded at 880 mouse clicks per 10 seconds in 2002. The world record Excessive clocked was verified by Guinness World Records on July 6th 2011, earning him a place in the annals of history.

Since his record setting achievement in 2011, not one person has come close to matching Excessive's lightning-fast clicking speed. Even by today's standards his efforts remain unrivalled with the current 10-second clicking world record still being 1,090 clicks per 10 seconds.

Beyond gaming circles, the clicking speed and accuracy required to set such a remarkable record are coveted qualities for employers who see these as valuable assets required to enhance productivity. For example, jobs such as data entry or document organization which often require heavy computer usage demand these fast and efficient techniques from employees which can improve workflow and success rate drastically when correctly implemented and practiced correctly.

Mice technology has advanced significantly since Excessive's record breaking day with modern-day gaming mouses boasting up to 16000 dpi resolution setting as well as advanced ergonomics that aid both accuracy and comfort making them perfect for click intensive tasks alike gaming or data entry jobs.
